It wouldn’t be a Disney anniversary without a new line of merch to go with it! With the Silver Anniversary comes a new line of merchandise that Disney has dubbed the Shimmering Seas Collection. Featuring the same signature color that Mickey and Minnie will be dressed in, this collection of apparel, accessories, drinkware, and keepsakes is inspired by shining sunlight glimmering on the ocean waves of a distant horizon. With the event, Disney will be unveiling a new membership tier for the Castaway Club. With this new tier, cruisers can unlock Pearl status after 25 voyages, coinciding with the 25 years being celebrated by this Disney anniversary event. When/Where the Silver Anniversary Sets Sail

The Silver Anniversary at Sea will be sailing to the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe and more, starting in early May and continuing on until mid September. Disney Magic will be heading to the Bahamas and the Caribbean, Disney Fantasy will be exploring both Eastern and Western Caribbean, and the newest ship, Disney Wish, will go to Nassau, Bahamas. Each of these three ships will also stop at Castaway Cay, the private island exclusively for Disney Cruise ship passengers.

Meanwhile, Disney Wonder will embark from Vancouver and head up to Alaska while Disney Dream will offer transatlantic voyages to the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and the Greek Isles. Each ship will be offering a unique experience for the event, enticing Disney enthusiasts to experience more than just one. It may be a tall order to try and take a voyage on each ship before the summer is over, but that would go a long way toward getting you the 25 trips you need to get to Pearl status!
