After news broke that Prince Charles and Prince William are traveling to Balmoral—the Scotland estate owned by Her Majesty—amid concerns about the health of the Queenmany netizens began speculating on exactly who will replace her if she were to pass in the near future.

The monarch, 96, is currently under medical supervision after doctors became concerned for her health. It comes after she postponed a planned Privy Council meeting on the evening of Wednesday 7 September after being advised to rest.

In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: “Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.” Glad to hear she’s comfy.

James Gunn Reveals Runtime for Disney+ Guardians Holiday Special

James Gunn will likely make everyone’s holiday season this year, with the white-haired writer-director dropping The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney+ sometime in the not-too-distant future.

The Holiday Special marks the first time the Guardians have been back under Gunn’s full control since 2017. Sure, the rag-tag group of outlaws appeared in various MCU projects since then, including Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, Thor: Love and Thunderand even the possible canon I Am Grootbut this project will see the two-time MCU director back at the helm.

Even as Gunn is back as writer-director for the special, it seems that it will continue the more upbeat tone that has marked the team’s recent appearances, with LEGO sets and comments from the man himself marking the special as more light-hearted than the upcoming Guardians 3.

UPS is hiring 100,000 workers for the upcoming holiday season

UPS announced Wednesday it is looking to hire more than 100,000 workers for the coming holiday shopping season, with pay rising to as much as $30 an hour for certain positions and locations.

The shipping and logistics giant said its streamlined, digital-first hiring process will mean most people filling out online applications could get job offers in just 25 minutes. Nearly 80% of seasonal positions do not require interviews, UPS said.

“We have made our hiring process as simple and easy as possible,” said Nando Cesarone, UPS’ executive vice president and president of US operations, said in a release. “UPS’s strength has always been our people, and we are excited about the opportunity to welcome new UPSers to our team as we deliver what matters for our customers this holiday season.”
